ProData visit, summary of Freber’s trip to Taiwan
Last week, we visited our long-term partner ProData in Taiwan, a collaboration that has lasted for over 40 years. The goal of the trip was to strengthen our relationship, follow up on production and explore new opportunities together. The result was a week filled with insights, development and great experiences.
Technology, quality and production
We visited several of the factories that supply components to our projects and were met by impressive engineering environments featuring:

High precision in cable assembly and wire harness production for industry, IoT and demanding environments

Advanced antenna solutions used in defense, security and communication

Plastic molding for ergonomics, industrial and medical applications

Waterproof connectors and robust cable systems for subsea, mining and other harsh-use scenarios

Cables developed for extreme weather conditions, subsea and defense applications
The factories maintain an exceptionally high level of quality, with certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27000, and IATF16949, extensive testing laboratories, and clear routines for quality and traceability. This gives us confidence that the solutions we deliver live up to the standards Freber stands for.
The Taiwan experience
In addition to the professional insights, we had the chance to experience Taiwan as a fantastic country with great hospitality, delicious food, and a vibrant culture. Taipei stands out as a unique city – modern, safe, and full of energy. Good conversations and enjoyable dinners added an extra layer of value to an already successful trip.
We return home with new inspiration, deeper insight into the technology we represent, and a renewed strength in our partnership with ProData. This gives us a solid foundation for developing even better solutions for our customers in the time ahead.
