Until such Common Specifications are adopted, the manufacturer must demonstrate compliance through Module A (Internal Production Control) under Annex VIII — meaning the manufacturer self-declares conformity, supported by technical documentation that includes test results, risk assessments, and descriptions of the solutions adopted to meet the requirements of Articles 6–14. IEC 62133-2 is the most relevant standard, and test results can and should be included in that technical file as supporting evidence but is not compulsory at the time of this issued DOC. |
